This is one of the most common things I hear, and it usually comes down to one thing: training hard is only half the equation. If your fueling and recovery aren't keeping up with the effort you're putting in, your body doesn't have what it needs to actually adapt and change — no matter how hard you push. It's not a workout problem, it's an under-fueling and ignored-recovery problem. Once those catch up to your training, results usually start moving again.
